Being prepared means having the mindset, knowledge, and tools to react to physical threats and medical emergencies. Mindset and knowledge come from training and are carried internally. Unfortunately, the tools need to be carried physically.
That’s why I have Gracie. Gracie is a three year old Bernese Mountain Dog who is extremely eager to help carry gear! Water, trauma kit, bag dispenser, she couldn’t be happier or feel more important then when she is carrying a pack. And I couldn’t be happier knowing I have essential equipment in case of an emergency.
If you have the mindset, but are looking for the training and tools to react to a physical threat or medical emergencies, contact IRT for opportunities.
