Trauma pouch too much to carry? Enlist some help!

Being prepared means having the mindset, knowledge, and tools to react to physical threats and medical emergencies. Mindset and knowledge come from training and are carried internally. Unfortunately, the tools need to be carried physically.

That’s why I have Gracie. Gracie is a three year old Bernese Mountain Dog who is extremely eager to help carry gear! Water, trauma kit, bag dispenser, she couldn’t be happier or feel more important then when she is carrying a pack. And I couldn’t be happier knowing I have essential equipment in case of an emergency.

If you have the mindset, but are looking for the training and tools to react to a physical threat or medical emergencies, contact IRT for opportunities.

Register now for TECC

Earn your Certification and become a First Care Provider of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC).

IRT offers a specialized certification in TECC for First Responders with a duty to Act (Law Enforcement and Firefighters not trained as EMS) This course provides knowledge and training to deal with an active threat environment.

In the event of a mass casualty event, time is the enemy of the wounded. The more people prepared to step up and provide care, the better the chances are for survival. TECC is rapidly becoming the globally recognized standard for initial, pre-medical first aid in high risk scenarios. Whether you are a concerned citizen looking to be prepared, a CCW holder, hunter, or gun owner in general, knowing what to do in high risk first aid situations is your duty.
